You can choose from three distinct characters: the brave warrior Nox, the enigmatic cultist Ahnushu, and the battle-ready android Alice. Each character comes with their own set of starting weapons and items, upgradeable skills, and unlockable outfits. The game’s 360° aiming cursor lets you attack enemies from all directions, while the dodge-roll move offers brief invulnerability to evade enemy attacks.

Discover powerful weapons for purchase or hidden within the tower, and collect artifacts that provide passive bonuses when equipped. The game uses two types of currency: crystals found in the tower and orbs earned by defeating bosses. Critadel also offers two difficulty levels and a Boss Rush mode for replaying boss battles, adding to its replay value.
