DreadOut: Game Overview

DreadOut is a captivating horror game that immerses you in a supernatural world. You step into the shoes of Linda, a high school student who finds herself trapped in a deserted town. Armed with her smartphone and an SLR camera, Linda must confront spine-chilling encounters and unravel perplexing puzzles that will ultimately decide her destiny.

The story unfolds when Linda and her classmates lose their way during a field trip and stumble upon a forgotten town, seemingly frozen in time. Unbeknownst to them, this seemingly tranquil town hides a dark secret and is home to malevolent forces from another dimension. What starts as an innocent exploration quickly spirals into a nightmare as the town’s horrifying secrets come to light.

The responsibility of survival falls on Linda’s shoulders. She begins to discover strange powers within her, which may be her only hope of saving herself and her friends. The game allows you to explore a haunted environment inspired by Asian-Indonesian culture, battle against terrifying creatures from a supernatural world, and solve intriguing puzzles that stand in your way.

DreadOut offers a unique gaming experience by allowing you to switch between first-person and third-person perspectives. The game features an engaging storyline and includes Act 1 and 2 of Linda’s terrifying journey, along with Act 0. Additionally, you can access Linda’s unlockable wardrobe for a more personalized gaming experience.
