Loddlenaut: Game Overview

Loddlenaut is an exciting and engaging ocean cleanup adventure game that takes place on a colorful alien planet. You step into the shoes of an interstellar janitor, whose job is to clean up the pollution left behind by a space-traveling mega-corporation. Along the way, you’ll make friends with adorable axolotl-like aliens and uncover sunken corporate ruins, all while restoring the planet’s vibrant ecosystems.

The game offers an open-world exploration of an alien planet. You’ll have the opportunity to nurture aquatic creatures known as loddles. These creatures evolve based on their diet, offering a unique gameplay element. Armed with your bubble gun, you’ll clear up the nasty goop and floating debris polluting the oceans. The game also features special gadgets that you can unlock to clean various types of ocean pollution. Plus, you can recycle the trash you collect to craft handy items and upgrades.

Your mission takes place on the ocean planet GUP-14, which was deserted by GUPPI, a mega-corporation that produces everything from soft drinks to spaceships. The planet is now a mess of murky waters, oil spills, and scattered junk. As you clean up, you’ll discover remnants of GUPPI’s buildings, ships, and machinery, all sunk to the ocean floor. These remnants provide clues about the planet’s previous inhabitants. You’ll also encounter loddles, axolotl-like aliens that you need to protect from the polluted waters. Feed them aquatic fruits and help them adapt to their newly cleaned planet. The loddles’ growth and development depend on their diet, and they acquire unique traits and abilities that help them survive on the once-polluted planet.
