The game incorporates a unique powers system based on the philosophy of the five elements – Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. These elements interact in a rock-paper-scissors fashion, allowing players to mix and match powers to create unique combat strategies. The game also features hundreds of Inscriptions that add more depth to the battles, some with trade-offs. Pairing different inscriptions can result in surprising synergies.
