Octodad: Dadliest Catch is an exciting game that combines elements of chaos, deceit, and the challenges of being a father. You get to play as Octodad, a stylish octopus pretending to be a human, trying to live a normal life. Octodad’s life is a constant battle as he attempts to perform everyday tasks with his clumsy, boneless tentacles, all while hiding his true identity from his human family.

In this follow-up to the popular game Octodad, our octopus hero finds himself in a tricky situation. His wife is growing suspicious, and a disastrous visit to the local aquarium only adds to his problems. Can you help Octodad maintain his disguise and keep his tentacles in check? The original Octodad game was released in October 2010 by a group of university students. Despite everyone believing the game was about a regular human dad, it became a cult favorite, received high praise, and was a finalist at the Independent Games Festival Student in 2011.

Thanks to the attention Octodad received, the creators decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign, establish the game studio Young Horses, and develop a larger, improved, and more refined game about Octodad.
