The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a highly anticipated game that has been creating quite a buzz in the gaming community. Recently, we had the opportunity to experience the game firsthand at Nintendo’s European headquarters in Frankfurt. We spent an exciting 70 minutes exploring the game’s features, which felt like a mere 10 minutes due to the sheer amount of content to explore.
The game begins on a Sky Island, which serves as a tutorial to familiarize players with the controls and new mechanics. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but we soon got the hang of it. We experimented with the Ultrahand and quickly realized that the game’s physics were more complex than we initially thought.
We also tried out the Fuse ability, which offers a lot of freedom and potential for creativity. For instance, you can attach an apple to the end of a sword for a minor attack boost. This might sound silly, but it’s just one of the many unique features that make this game so engaging.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is not just a sequel to one of the greatest games of all time, but it’s also one of the rare instances where two brand-new Zelda games have been released during a single Nintendo console’s lifespan. It’s a must-have game for the Nintendo Switch, rivaling the popularity of Animal Crossing. While not much has been revealed about the game, it’s sure to be a hit among fans and newcomers alike.
