In the first episode, you play as bush pilot Will Mackenzie, who is separated from Dr. Astrid Greenwood after their plane crashes in the Northern Canadian wilderness due to a strange flash of light in the sky. As Mackenzie, you must struggle to survive while searching for Astrid, leading you to the small town of Milton where you start to grasp the extent of this silent apocalypse.
In the second episode, Mackenzie’s quest for Astrid takes him deeper into the brutal winter wilderness. A mysterious trapper might hold the key to finding Astrid, but can he be trusted? The Long Dark is not just a game, but a test of survival and resilience against the unforgiving forces of nature.
