Until We Die is an engaging strategy game that revolves around defending a subway station, your base, located underground. The game challenges you to protect your base from various threats brought by meteorites. The ultimate goal is to survive for approximately 30 game days, warding off all the attacks on your base.
As the game progresses, the intensity of the attacks increases. Initially, you’ll face small groups of creatures, but towards the end, you’ll be up against a massive horde of mutants. The game concludes prematurely if Ivan, the main character, dies or if the power generator, which is the lifeblood of the base, gets destroyed.
Until We Die is not your typical strategy game. You’ll have to take on the role of Ivan and give valuable orders to your followers. The game doesn’t have advanced AI, and the characters are not proactive. They need your guidance to perform tasks like building fortifications, researching technology for stronger defenses, launching expeditions to the surface, attacking mutant lairs to secure more land for farms and tents, gathering supplies, and finding food.
