FIFA 14: Game Overview
FIFA 14 is a top-notch football simulation game that continues to impress on all platforms. The game offers an immersive gameplay experience, featuring a plethora of tournaments, championships, and much more. What sets FIFA 14 apart from its predecessors is the increased number of licensed championships, national teams, and club teams.
In this edition, the game introduces 19 fully licensed Brazilian clubs and the Brazilian national team. The fictional Polska Liga has also evolved into a licensed Polish championship. Additionally, the Argentinean premiere, the Colombian league, and the Ukrainian club Shakhtar, complete with its club stadium Donbass Arena, have been added to the game.
FIFA 14 boasts more than three dozen licensed leagues and over 600 clubs with 16,000 players. The game also introduces new mechanics. The strike mechanics have been revamped, allowing players to control the length of the stride and the angle of approach to the ball. This new intuitive mechanic enables players to maneuver the ball, pushing back defenders.
Another significant change is the physics of the ball’s flight. The ball now adheres to the laws of physics, twisting, ricocheting, and accelerating based on the strikes. FIFA 14 is available for free download on PC and comes pre-installed on SteamRiP.
