World War Z: Aftermath is a thrilling PC game that you can download for free. This game is the next level of the original World War Z, a game that has already won the hearts of over 15 million players worldwide. Inspired by the popular Paramount Pictures film, this co-op zombie shooter game offers an immersive experience of a zombie apocalypse.
With full cross-play on consoles and PC, you can join up to three friends or play solo with AI teammates. Your mission is to fight against hordes of zombies in intense story episodes set in new locations around the globe, devastated by the zombie outbreak. You can also join forces with survivors in the snow-covered Kamchatka peninsula in Russia and engage in an epic battle in Rome to reclaim Vatican City.
The game introduces new and returning characters, a brutal melee system, and unique dual-wield weapon options like the sickle and cleaver. You will face new undead threats, including swarms of rats that can cause total chaos. The game also features a new Horde Mode XL game mode, where you can face waves of increasingly difficult zombies. This mode will be available in a free post-launch update on PC.
